Yesterday I was cleaning my wash and decided my Hamilton Gold Line needed a spruce-up.

I regularly wipe it down with g.p. and do the stainless with special cleaner/polish, but the face was looking a little cruddy, so I used some 3M Imperial Hand Glaze on it.

I was amazed at the results! The clear part over the script was nice and transparent and the white part with the dollar bill graphics looked great, too. I put some on the buttons as well as the metal plates around the pricing inserts, etc. They, too looked super after the hand glaze.

Give it a shot if your cashier face is looking less than new.

I've done that many times with various Lexan displays, once even cleaned off damage left by steel wool (Soneone had cleaned duct tape gum off with it) with plain polishing compound followed by a deglazing.
