removing vac decals

hello I have some vac decals that are not vinyl but more of a acrylic type ginsan type that im trying to remove and not scratch my vac up i have tried a heat gun and that works very slow i have also tried lacuer thinner do you guys have any suggestions?

A blowtorch would be faster than a heat gun. You need to get all the decal off before you bother trying to remove the adhesive residue. 3M Adhesive Cleaner works very well for that - dampen the adhesive and scrape it off gently with a razor blade.

vac decal removal

Wanted to let all know that the torch idea worked good then used acetone to take the rest of the adhesive off Lot of work but they came great

I've used gasket remover from an auto parts store to remove different decals. Be forewarned....that stuff is nasty. It'll melt a lot of plastics, and it burns if you get it on you. It works though.

Hi guys,
it just happen that I removed my JEAdams stickers last week. I used Aceton on 3 and for the last one I used my high pressure cleaner. I don't know if JEAdams used a different glue on the last one BUT that came off like nothing.
EASY! I will leave them without stickers. They look better. Cheers.
