Replace GinSan 31b with LED 7

Is it possible to replace a Gin-San 31b dispaly with a Dixmor LED7 in a GinSan meter box? We have figured out how to make an led7 fit physically but want to know if it will work functionally. I'm tired of replacing the GS-31s and want a lowrer cost and more reliable option.

Yes it's possible. You have to eliminate the timer in the equipment room. A Dixmor LED-6 or LED-7 timer would be my first choice in replacing any timer.

The LED7 won't completely cover the opening. On some I've done I ordered some red lenses, on others I used the LED6 which is wider and covers the entire opening.
