Reverse osmosis problem

The brand is Mark VII. The reverse osmosis machine says i have "Low Water Pressure." But i checked our pressure and its at its normal pressure from the city. So i tried simply just flipping the off switch off then turning it back on. it will kick on for about 10 seconds then shuts back off. Anyone know what the problem could be?

Check your prefilter.

Are there any pressure gauges on the system? If there aren't any for reading the water pressure before the pump and after the solenoid, add one and see what it's reading when it shuts down.

The pressure to the pump of the RO may be low, the low water warning is to keep the pump from running dry. Our propak system will shut off the pumps until enough pressure is present to let the make up pump run.

I would start with the micron filter ,and go from there looking for a reason to lose pressure to the unit.

A couple other causes I have seen is a bad pressure switch, demand at the wash is high robbing the RO unit of water, and to much water flowing through the ro unit lowering the intake pressure.

i have a Mark VII unit. It will shut off if my main water pressure drops low. If it drops to about 20 psi it will shut it down until pressure returns to about 40 psi. It is also possible your pressure switch is going bad. I would add a gauge before and after the filters.
