RNS C2000 controller gives "Dime input stuck" error....

My Hamilton RNS C2000 controller gives "Dime input stuck" error intermittently.

I don't take dimes!!!!

I take $1,5,10 bills only.

I can only suspect a bad controller?

Ideas?

Your probably reading the flash code wrong. It's more than likely a "2 FLASHES, PAUSE, 3 FLASHES HOPPER 3 JAMMED" and not a "3 FLASHES, PAUSE, 2 FLASHES DIME INPUT STUCK" I see it all the time. Check the hopper to make sure it not jammed or have a coin under the payout wheel.

You are probably correct. It was my employee that gave me the code via telephone.

Your explanation makes sense.....

FWIW, no matter how many times I try to explain the "pause" between the blinks....it always gets messed up.
