RO unit has mind of its own

Im having a hard time adjusting pressures on my RO unit. It doesn't want to adjust well. The manual is written by a idiot
From what I understand my process water should be spread 2 GPM from the reject water(according to the directions) and my pressure out @ 225-250. When I adjust the valves I just cant dial in without one of the other guages going wacky.

what brand is the unit?

my ro units run as follows not sure if it works across the board

to make a gallon youll lose a gallon.
so if your making 5 youl be rejecting 4 or 5.
my systems all have two membrane setups
so im making 5 loosing 2.5 on each membranes reject
incoming tap pressure 60 psi
pump psi 150
membrane 1 111psi membrane 2 120psi
