Looking to add new RO and water softners with my new IBA purchase. Is there a product out there relative to these units that will send alarms for PM issues? Are there products out there that may be less maintenance or maintenance free?

When adding a softener, you can save a lot of money by plumbing the soft water to just the chemical mixing and the RO. Don't waste it on other functions. You can get away with a much smaller unit. When buying the softener, ask for one with a metered head. This is a single tank with a meter that measures the amount of water going through it. It will regenerate at 1 AM when the flow maxes out. Gin San is a good company, but they way overbuild their RO units.
