The regional car wash associations have been doing road shows for a few years now. Many are held around the country. The ones I have attended have been great. Last July I spent a day in Denver going to one hosted by the WCA. We visited several locations and had a great lunch at a car wash supply facility. IMO this was every bit as good as attending the ICA show. The best thing about it was that you got to see actual working equipment and locations. When attending the conventions you get to see all the glitzed up displays but do not get to see actual working units. I think it would be a great idea this year for companies selling car wash equipment to actually put on their own mini road show during the ICA convention. It would be great to have PDQ, Wash WOrld, Ryko etc set up transportaion from their booths to take operators out to actual working locations. I think it would lead to more sales for a company willing to put forth this type of effort. Las Vegas is a big enough town that you could find just about anything you would want for equipment.
