I am considering going from an 8 position rotary switch to a 10 position switch and adding 2 new functions...dryers and low pressure wax. I have 2 spare wires available from the equipment room to the current 8 position rotary switch. Are those two spare wires going to be enough to get the job done?

Yes, you'd only need one wire for each additional function.

Ric, also note that 11 & 21 is the off position on a 8 pos. rotary switch, where as 10 & 20 are on a 10 pos. switch.
