Anyone installed the new Rowe 400 changer, or have any thoughts/insights on it? $2800 capacity, able to recycle $5's and change 20's...for only $3k -- Sounds pretty good?

have 6 in service, takes a while for people to trust putting in a $20 bill, but the look on their face is worth it, main problem we have seems be in the hopper on $5 pay since we vend $ tokens and Quarters it some times hangs up and short changes customer. it tells us what it did, nice feature. The mars units some times jam bills since we use dual stackers we always have to look a bill acceptor for flashing lights and have now out clean up people call us when lights don't flash. bill will jam and shut off one acceptor but other acceptor works so its not that big of a problem

Thanks for the feedback cmawash! How long have you had the changers in? They look pretty good to me, however I'm a little worried about the additional components -- the more stuff that's put in the changers (dual stackers, extra large capacity hopper, another stacker for the $5's, etc) the more that seems could go wrong! Any idea how long these changers have been available?

mei units work good, when they break you need a good repair shop that responsive. hoppers need cleaning there's a yellow plastic drive belt that usually needs cleaning in the hopper, a little bit trickey to reinstall, power supply computer have been very good. in service 3 years now. recommend dual mei set up

At Kleenrite -- probably about 2 or 3 months ago. Haven't checked lately, though. I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but it's on the list!
