Rowe changer working very slow

I have an older Rowe C-6 change machine that is taking a long time to disperse quarters. Maybe a couple of minutes for a $5 bill. Any ideas what would cause this?

Thanks. It was bad enough I had to take the hopper apart to clean the track. That is the first time in 20 years of use I have ever cleaned it so I guess I have been lucky. Seems to be working ok now.

Glad to hear it. I used to clean that track Monthly. Rowe did sell a long handled bristle brush that looks like a stiff bristled toothbrush with about a 12" handle that you can use to clean it up easily.
