Ryko AMTT CS not responding - freezing up

I have and Ultrasonic 2001 OHD with an AMTT-CS coinbox and recently have had several issues with it freezing up on not responding to things it is connected to. A bit ago, the touch screen was not responding, then the bill acceptor, then the changer, now 2 days in a row I have come in to find the carwash armed for a wash and the AMTT is frozen. In each case if I shut it down for a bit and reboot it, the issue is seems to go away. Any suggestions? I had the touchscreen replaced 1yr 1/2 ago due to vandalism, the lcd monitor replaced, computer and poiwer supply all within 2 years and these issues with the computer freezing and not responding have been since.

Are your fans working correctly inside the coinbox? heat can cause hell with the components inside I know I too had the same problems check the 2 fans on the back of the screen, the exhaust fan behind the CPU direct sunlight has played in part to some issues I had had in the past as well.

Good call......just checked the fans and the exhaust fan in the back of the cabinet is good, the power supply fan is good but the computer fan is not on. I do remember it was making a lot of noise previously....now that I think about it. The weird thing is that the freeze up was at night but I think we actually had a power blink that night and maybe that caused it. The connectivity issues hopefully will be resolved with the new cooling fan. One other thing......Do you have your coinbox set to reboot on a daily basis? Mine had been but the problem is that it arms the machine when it reboots so the doors are open and green light is on. Very problematic in the winter so I had them change it so that it does not reboot. I am wondering if it would be helpful for the computer to reboot daily to clear the accumulated junk. Well just this morning my AMTT CS had the white screen of death on it when I showed up, Ryko said that they no longer repair them they just send you a re-manufactured CPU. Just waiting to see if it's free or not being Ryko is trying to up their image with the new ownership they should send everybody who has old Soft Glosses or OHD's new FREE units including install.
