This problem started 2 weeks ago and is happening about once every other day or sometimes once a day.
When the rear brushes come in for the first time ( after the soap) the top sections of the foam grab each other and trip the breaker. Every time I have seen it has been an suv. Does any one know what the cause or the fix would be. Thanks

When I've heard of this happening, it's usually due to either lack of lubrication (brushes dry at beginning of the day), or if there is a build-up on the surface of the brush. Cleaning the brush should resolve it if that is the case.

I have the chemical rep coming Monday to see if its a problem with lubrication in the soap but it normally happens later in the day the foam is clean and getting water I was going to check the rpm and see if one was spinning slower letting the other one grab it they look like they are spinning the same speed any one know what the rpm should be. Thanks

I noticed today that you can spin the top half of the foam on the rear brush a half turn or more with out the shaft turning its really easy to turn by hand so i think the top section has come loose from the shaft im not sure how its attached but i think i will take it apart tomorrow and figure it out.

All brushes are designed to spin at 70 RPM as controlled by the reducer. If your machine was manufactured with clutches, the upper half of the brush is connected to the clutch, while the lower sections is a direct connection. When idle, you should be able to turn the upper sections by hand with the lower sections not engaged.

For the detergent, do the brushes squeak at all when washing the vehicle? This is generally a good indication of poor lubrication.
