I have an issue where once a customer has paid at the pay station there is a 22nd or so delay before the lights turn green and the door opens on my soft glass. This is relatively recent. Doesn’t happen all the time, but he’s getting progressively worse. Also at times after the customer pays it says the car wash is in use when nobody is in there. I have the virtual treadle photo eyes. Wondering if one of those is bad? Anyone have an issue with this. I feel like I have had this happen in the past, but can’t remember what the issue Was

I don’t have that machine. But maybe a prox switch going bad, eye going bad, or some debris partially blocking an eye. I had an issue with my machine where a piece of door weatherstripping would block the eye….just temporarily and occasionally…like as the dryer was on or slowing down. When the air movement stopped….all was good. Hard to figure out. Let us know the fix .
I think I solved this problem. I remembered a while ago I had the same issue. It was related to the portal TI pay station. The bill acceptor was off-line and that makes the pay station search for a bill acceptor nonstop. Because it is continuing to search for a peripheral that is not there it delays operations. I ended up going into the site server and deactivating the bill acceptor after several attempts to bring it back online. I think either the bill acceptor is dead or the board is bad. By deactivating it as a peripheral extension the pay station now does not look for it and operates as it should ….other than taking cash. At least I can run the machine until I figure out what’s going on with the bill acceptor.
