I was looking for an suggestions you guys might have for retrofiting my self-serve doors. I was broken into last night and the thief got off with a few hundred dollars which was my fault for not pulling the bills daily. I know he will be back sooner or later since he got a decent amount of money. I currently have Jim Coleman bay vaults with regular medeco cam locks the lock on the lip of the vault, but unfortunately the thief was able to leverage the end and bust the latches off and open the door. So basically I was looking to see if anyone has any ideas. So far the best idea I can find for a retrofit are extension locks from medeco website which are basically the same locks but you keep twisting them until you screw the bolt extension into a female thread welded onto the rear of the vault. I have been looking around for something like my unitec latching system with plug locks and a crank but I can't find one and I don't have enough room for the T-handle locks unless I go some serious cutting. I heard coleman now has a high security self-serve vault system but can't seem to find pictures of it thus far. Thanks in advance.
