What size nozzle do you think works best. I am using a 2508 and am not happy with the pressure. I would like to have something with more pressure but still keep water usage down.
Thanks

Switching from 3 HP to 5 HP motors alone won't make a difference in pressure. Obviously if you increase the pressure above what the 3HP motor can provide when you switch to 5 HP motors, then you'd have the ability to make more pressure than you did before.DiamondWash said:Whitebirch-
We replaced our 1/4in high pressure hose with 3/8in and have 1507 nozzles, I've wanted to move up our 3hp motors with 5hp motors, the wash on the other side of town from us had 3hp baldor motors with cat 5CP2120W pumps with 2507 nozzles and switched to 5hp and it made a "major" pressure differance, but as for water consumption doing that I have no numbers.
2508 tips at 1000 PSI means 4 GPM. You might try a smaller tip, perhaps a 2507 at 1200 PSI - you'll still be using less water, and I'll bet it will clean better.whitebirch said:Running 1000+psi. self serve for cars.

I've been running this combo for over a year now.I just switched to 25055; running at 1200. This saves .2 gpm with no noticeable difference over the 2506. Just preparing the upcoming drought issues, as well.
I use a 2507 @ 1500 PSI. works good. I would like to find some 3507's which would be better. What size nozzle do you think works best. I am using a 2508 and am not happy with the pressure. I would like to have something with more pressure but still keep water usage down.
