I am seriously looking at upgrading my Entry Wizards, Swipe N Clean, to Unitec Wash Select II integrated with Wash Card Systems loyalty card. I want to get some references outside of the distributor/mfg supplied references. Here is my criteria for reviewing the equipment (not necessarily in this order). Prepay Capabilities, Validator, Coin Acceptor, Credit/Debit Capabilites, Windows Based vs. Solid State, Internet Integration, Reliability, Ease of use, Security Camera, Change Processing (Cash or Coin), Credit Card Processing Co. Flexibility, Ability to tie into self serves/vacs, Warranty, Upgradeability, Loyalty Card, Problem Codes, Coupon codes, Cost.

My research so far shows I can't find a solution to do everything I want yet. It looks like Unitec makes a reliable unit but with no loyalty or prepay capabilites. Any input greatly appreciated.

I have washcard at three locations. Just added it to the third one. Like it. Have been using it for atleast 15 yrs. For paystations at my new wash I have Standard XP paystations. They are very impressive. What I like about them is they are to the point. Choose a wash deposit money or card washcard or credit card and you have a wash. At my other washes I have American changer paystations will eventually replace with the standard XP's. Had a couple of programming issue at first with xps worked with standard and they corrected the problem.Probably the best customer service I have ever had.Have pics of our new wash in the photo gallery.

Until recently wash select IIs have been the only brand i have owned. I recently picked up a wash with Hamiltons. I'm sure they're very reliable but I think I will be looking for a deal on some WSIIs. Unitecs do not have unattended prepay capability like the entry wizard, but you can sell and establish fleet accounts and issue swipe cards or punch codes for whatever amount you wish. Discount Codes can also be given to "regulars" or friends they can be made good for whatever amount you wish e.g swipe this card and the WSII will give you a 2.00 discount on the top wash, etc. Accounting features in the wash select II are pretty good too.
