OK, I saw what I thought was a great commercial for a Rustoleum product to do my garage floor. It's a metallic shiny coating that looked just super. So I did the prep work (the hardest and most time consuming part) and was ready to buy the stuff when I thought I should read independent reviews such as on Amazon. Whoa ! Rustoleum needs to take it off the market as it is. So I read a lot and found a product made by Elitecrete. Looks great, and I found a professional company to put it down. If any of you, and you know who you are, want to really impress someone with your work shop or garage, or even an equipment room floor this is a neat way to do it. It's chemical resistant and fork lift traffic won't hurt it. Doing an equipment room floor would be tricky, but my guess is that when you went to sell, that's all people would be talking about. God, you know you're getting old when a floor excites you.

Huh... I put an epoxy on my garage floor around 12 years ago, it is very durable, extremely easy to clean, holding up great. I think it was rustoleum garage floor epoxy (professional or ultimate or something like that). I just checked amazon, where did you see bad reviews?
Not a bad idea to do the ER floor, I think I'll add that to my to-do list. Mainly because it makes it SO much easier to keep things clean. Also water runs across the top to the drain, doesnt soak into the concrete.
It does get a little slippery when wet though - if you dont add sand to the mix. Have to be careful about that.
