Have a customer with Wanner pumps going to an Omni arch. The pumps are fed by tanks mounted above them, about 6 feet above the floor. What's happening is when it shuts off, water siphons out of the nozzles. It's not been a big deal because it's reclaim water and it keeps it from smelling. But we want it to stop. Is there a simple vacuum breaker that can be put inline to stop it? The only ones I find are not rated for this pressure. Any suggestions?

How about running the line above the tanks and tee in a check valve like some SS operators do on their manifold above the bay to keep their guns from dripping.

A check valve with a 5 PSI cracking pressure should solve it.

I have a similar setup and incorporated check valves in the lines. I think they have a 10psi crack rating. Seem to work fine.

Has it always leaked water like this?
We had a similar setup that began leaking water out of the nozzles after a few years. We tried a few things to figure out how to break the siphon. Finally decided it must be something in the pump letting water trickle through continually. We solved it by putting a repair kit in the Wanner pump. No more water dripping on the floor all the time.
