Slow Weekend

Slow weekend on the bulletin board. Hope that means everyone is washing a lot of vehicles.

I can post now that the Nascar race is over. One of my part-timers has been off for knee replacement for the last three months and I have been working all of the Sundays since then. He came back to work this week and I have really enjoyed my first Sunday to call my own for quite some time. It's 4:30 and I haven't even been outside. I know this will bite me and the phone will ring with a crisis, but that's the way it goes sometimes. Business has been ok, but I've seen better days.

I've been away on vacation with my family.

Just like last summer, we had a breakdown as soon as I was hours away. This time, though, it was a broken HP hose on my touchfree. An easy fix for my staff.

Had a nice, relaxed week. Back at it soon enough.

Yes, I passed a few washes today while I was out and it seems like its a calm august. I noticed the cars including mine are not as dirty as they used to be after a few rains?

My slow weekend started at the first of march, hope it ends soon.
