Installing the kit today, thought it was odd that the window for the display was white. sure enough, I thought maybe the white was like rear projection movie screen, but no luck, . the new LED display is not that bright. the whit coating does not seem to be a plastic protection layer to be removed from the back of the lexan, but rather like paint does not seem to be a way to remove it without risking scratching up the lexan window. So it seems that either the display area should have been masked off leaving a clear window for the display or there is some way to remove the white substance from the back that I cant figure out. question is has anyone experienced this? and if so how was it resolved. I'm thinking I got a defect on the lexan panel but didn't want to wait till Monday to call Kleen-rite or genesis.
