Hi guys - I've got my first issue with one of my IBA since I've opened, and I need some help.

I have a Softgloss that while washing, the front side brushes aren't returning to the sides and the top brush is dropping down upon them and the wash, for lack of a better word, "just sits" and appears to attempt to proceed to go through the wash cycle.

I've checked my air pressures and everything is within suggested PSI's.

If I shut the air off, bleed out the manifold and let all the brushes and arms drop & close, and re-pressure the system, everything returns normally.

Any input? Figures it happens on a weekend when business has been absolutely busy.

Thanks!

You have a defective mac valve. Same thing happened to me a few months ago. I can't remember exactly which valve it wash, but I thing it was labeled something front arms. I did get it wrong at first and had to switch 2-3 before I got the right one. Once you change one, just save the mac valve until you run a wash and check it. Make sure you don't cut the wires on the valve too short so that you can reuse it if needed. Hopefully you have some extra valves laying around, those things go out randomly and there are a bunch that are used. Good luck.

That's what it was - the solenoid for the front return. Luckily I had a spare and am back in business!

Thanks
