Spot Free Issue

I am having an issue with my spot free unit. The unit when plugged in stays on constantly and will not shut off - motor starter seems fing. The unit is running from an IDX MX10 - Thinking this is the issue?
 
The IDX MX-10 would be my wild a$$ guess. Take your volt meter and check for voltage coming out of the MX-10. I put a relay inline with my MX-8 to take the load off the MX-8, the only thing the MX-8 controls now is the relay.
