I have a RO unit (spot free system that pumps into a 250 gallon holding tank) that has not worked in 2 years. I think it may be one of the pumps. I also noticed that my water sooner system is not working either. Do these systems work hand in hand? Does anyone have an knowledge of what typically goes bad in an RO unit? It just doesn't pump the water into the tank. The water traetmant system hasn't used any salt in three months. Any thoughts?

You should call a tech. No offense, but given the other questions you've asked, it's unlikely you'll gain the knowledge needed to repair these yourself by asking questions on a forum.

Also when you do call a tech, follow these simple rules: !. Explain in detail what you described here so that the tech knows what to expect, and that he can fix it. 2. When he's there be his shadow. Make him explain what he's doing so that you can fix it in the future. 3. If his solution doesn't pass the smell test, post it here before you spend any money. The things you have can usually be fixed verses replaced.

Sounds like a pump or float valve problem. Get out your meter and check for current. Same thing happened to me so I phoned PurClean and they walked me through the entire process.
