SS in bay canopy lights

I replaced all of my wall lights at one location with Hyperikon LED wall packs and they look great, but my other location has all ceiling lights, so I thought about trying these instead of replacing a couple of the CFL bulbs that are out.

We have been using one very similar, but we use the 60 W 8000 Lumen. It is a different brand but looks identical. Started using them about 3-4 years ago and have worked really well for us.

They have a 45 watt and 65 watt version. Only $15 difference, but wasn't sure if the extra wattage was needed.

Slash I have them installed in one wash as well they work great and put out a lot of light I believe mine are 65 watt version. I also have them in my warehouse (15,000 sq ft.) and they light the place up well at night.

Awesome. I guess you can't have too much light, I'll go with the 65 watt version. Was thinking try the 45 to save some energy, but afraid it wont' be bright enough. My 85 watt CFL's put out enough light as is if that makes a difference.

I've seen those exact lights in a car wash, the 65 watt version. They're more than adequate, only problem I see is that they put a bright spot on the ground rather than disperse the light evenly. I put these in one wash and have been putting them in mine as the fluorescents fail:

They light really evenly and IMO look a lot nicer. I put them up in place of Scottsdales by ordering plastic panels from tapplastics.com, attaching the light to the panels and screwing the panels to the empty box.

Great idea MEP. Looks great. Any suggestions for LED lights to replace what I have on my vacuums? What I have now are the lights that you see lighting up the highways. They attach to a 1.5" round pole and I have 40 watt CFL's in them. I need up go ahead and change those to LED as well.

I've been looking for a good one myself. I thought about having someone fabricate a metal channel to mount on a pole and put two of these on the underside out of the weather.

I used the Cree CPY250's which are 120W at my largest wash. The Cree's are good quality but I'll eventually replace
them with the 8774 Lights which are much less expensive and brighter.

My General rule of thumb when going from MH to LED including Scottdales is 1/3 the wattage. so the LEDs I have used are in the 100-150 Range.

I think they were $109 at the time. 8774 Lights has them on eBay now for $89. Not sure if this one has the best quality driver.
I got a better price by calling them direct and with volume.

My idea was that I am using 85 watt CFL lights, so with LED I should be able to use less wattage and get more light. These are 65 watt. Worked out great for my wall packs. So far they seem nice, but I would rather they were white. Very high up, so not a deal breaker.

Installed 3 so far, just ordered another 4 as they look good and give out much better light than I had before.
