Have a JE Adams Vac that has been working fine since installed 7 years ago.
Now when coins or bills or CC is used it accepts the money but the Dixmor LED7 timer flashes V7.36 and then AUX. If I turn off the power to the vac and back on it will reset the vac to Please deposit $2 scroll. ONLY new thing is that I recently removed the CryptoPay swiper and installed CryptoPay Tap. Everything worked after the installation for a few weeks.
I disconnected the Tap. I changed the Bill acceptor to a different unit. I changed the Dixmor to a different LED7. No joy.
I disconnected the coin and bill acceptor, then connected each one individually and without the other. Same crazy results. I checked the wire connections, all solid. Cannot find anything amiss.
Last thing to try tomorrow I guess is a new ribbon connector from the Dixmor to the Vac. Anyone else seen this strange behavior with a Dixmor? They are simple and solid devices - really odd.
