We have had a few calls from customers that tell us that the vendor will not vend at certain times of the day. The electronics system that we use is designed for use inside of a building where the sun is not a problem. We are using the system to run the vendors, which in most instances, are outside and can be effected by sunlight. This usually only happens in the northern half of the U.S. during the fall when the sun is dropping very low in the south. If your vendor window is facing west, there is the possibility that, for a short period of time in the morning and late afternoon, the suns rays can shine through the window just right to shine directly onto the Sensit board LEDs and "blind" or "overpower" this device. If the Sensit system is shut down, the vendor will not vend. This is usually evidenced by the vendor taking the money, giving credit, and the helix turning only a short turn and stopping. We have found ways to mitigate and fix this situation, so give us a call and we can tell you how to fix it. Just another of the little glitches that came with the new technology and have to be overcome.

Most ShurVend owners will not be affected by this, so this post is for the few that might be.
