Super Saver stand too big

Has anyone else done this? I like these pump stands but they are just too damn long. So I brought out the sawzall and the mig welder. My only real concern is I stacked the 4 self serve pumps in 1 row, the top pump is pretty high, will I have a problem drawing water to that pump?

It's still below the bottom of the tank, so it won't be a problem.

Actually MEP There is another pump that goes on that top tier. It will be below water level, but could be sketchy on a busy day. I was thinking, I could cut out and lower the 3 top pumps and drop the top 1 about 6" if needed.
