Ok, last week I was in Tampa, FL and I went through a Superior Side-Trac 700... What's strange about this system is that its guts and brains are pretty much Ryko! You heard me right! The HP Pump (Now a "High Impact" Pump), Trifoam nozzle (A Ryko Retrofit tube pad thing found on old voyagers that have trifoam. I have actually seen one on an APC before!), L-Arm (Same arm used on a Monarch II), Chemical Pump system, and dryer!!!! I find it very odd that they are compatible with each other! Does anybody know why this is??

Also, I Know Waxman operates a 700-R, I Tried looking everywhere and I can NOT find the difference between the 700 & 700-R. Does ANYBODY Know what it is??

If anyone wants to see a video of this rare beast, I uploaded it to my YouTube channel. (Yes. Im a carwash videographer. :D) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hibkJRMg90Q&list=UUxlf_5L30z9qvKLC8KkAOpQ

The 700R has a remote pumping plant. The 700 has pump and chemical etc. on board the carwash bay equipment (gantry).

How do you know about the guts and brains of the unit? Did you inspect the PLC? See the HP and chemical pump?

I don't mean to be rude, but it seems you are making alot of assumptions, so what is the basis for them?

It’s called reverse engineering. For example, why do so many older in-bay brands look like PDQ 4000?

This doesn't strike me as odd. If you have a gantry that needs high pressure water and low pressure chemicals, most any old unit will do. I doubt however if the plc from the Ryko was used. Could be. Whoever did that should get an "atta boy" for cleverness and resourcefulness.
