Synthetic Chamois

Waxman

Super Moderator
When I built my new detail shop I switched to terry towels to dry all the cars.

Now, years later, I am switching back to synthetic chamois for drying details.

The chamois need less washing and zero drying, thus saving money and time.

Why not just let the car air dry? We use the Tornador Air Gun to blow water out of the cracks and crevices, while the car drip-drys and air drys, with maybe the exception of the windows, which we use a damp micro-fiber to wipe quickly so they don't spot (I don't have spot free water). Any water spots on the vehicle will come off with polihing or waxing.

Because we clay bar the wax & polish jobs and the grit the clay takes off is on the car and drying removes it so the wax job turns out far better than if we clayed then let the car iar dry.
