All,

I know its been discussed on past posts, but I'm looking into buying a 500t, drying the sand and putting it in my dumpster.

see..http://www.ring-o-matic.com/500T.html

Anybody doing this in Ontario? I know I need to look into the regulations around this.

You should check with your garbage hauler. Mine pays by the ton and would change my rates, as sand is so heavy, also the weight capacity of the truck on lifting a dumpster.

I have used the Ring O Matic 1000T (500T big brother) for the past 15 years. The best machine around hands down.

As far as drying the sand, I take mine to a regulated site. I was also thinking of dumping it on a slab of concrete to dry out, and then dumping it in the dumpster. Our dumpster co. Waste Management, has scales on their forks when dumping, therefore, I would have to dump the sand a little bit at a time. They would eventually start to charge me an extra fee for the weight. This is why I take it off site.

mjc3333,

So what is the difference between a regular dump and a regulated site?
