I had a guy at my house last night working on my computer. While here, he told me that he had seen a video somewhere on the web, of someone describing how to start a SS car wash with a TV remote. He thought it was BS, but asked me if it was so. I told him that a couple of the timer mfrs. actually do have that capability, but to actually start a bay you would have to know the pass code, which is whatever the operator programmed into it when setting it up. I did tell him that they come with a default code of WXYZ, but no operator would be careless enough to leave it on the default when it is so easy to set your own.

Just in case you were careless and "forgot" to change the code, be warned, the info is out there. If you get ripped off with the default code, you have no one to blame but yourself.

Most of the guys around here with Dixmor 2000 timers leave all the passwords default. Even the ones I've warned that anyone who knows how can get free washes, they've said "No one would do that," and left the defaults.
