For those of you managing multiple car wash locations, how do you keep everything running smoothly? Are there systems or processes you’ve implemented that help streamline operations? How do you handle staff management, supply chains, and customer feedback across different locations? I’d love to hear any tips that can help others scale their businesses effectively.

Are you talking about multiple ss/IBA sites? How many sites and how many employees?
In the tunnel world, multiple locations would have a site manager/location manager for each wash that would be the first on call for all employee and customer interactions. If you are talking about ss/IBA locations, there is probably not nearly as much labor involved.

Hi everyone, I'm developing an app specifically for car wash owners. It's in the beta phase and will be available by the end of the year for 5 car wash owners to test and give feedback. You'll get early access and a chance to shape the final product. The app already includes Daily checklist to streamline employee tasks and video uploading for easy onboarding or skill development. What features would make your day-to-day operations easier? Drop your ideas and/or let me know if you'd like to join the beta. Thank you, Floppgean AKA Tabby:)

If you are the sole employee, I would think you would have a regular rotation of wash visits that you schedule. This would allow you to do routine cleaning maintenance and collections with adequate frequency. If you have labor or workers at each of the locations, I would have them on a regular schedule with a routine information reports to you. They should be able to clean, fill chemicals, empty trash, assist with customer questions etc. Not a bad idea to have a single phone number available at all locations for customers to have a direct line to you. How big is the staff you have yo manage?

Hi there! Just jumping into the conversation here—I saw your points and wanted to share that I’m building an app that could help streamline everything you mentioned. It’s designed to handle tasks like scheduling, routine cleaning and maintenance, tracking inventory, and staff reporting. Some of the features include:
• A centralized communication platform for employees and management.
• Automated task assignments and reminders for things like filling chemicals and emptying trash.
• and more features to improve efficiency and save time!

The app will be available for beta testing at the end of December or beginning of January. While not all features will be available in the beta version, I’m looking for five business owners to test it out. It can be downloaded onto a mobile phone.

Let me know if you’d like to be part of the beta testing group or if you have any questions—I’d love to hear your feedback!

We hire only the best employees. Each employee is well trained so they know what their duties are and they know each others job. We pay our employees very well so they stay.

“That’s awesome, Randy! It sounds like you’ve built a great team and created a workplace where employees feel valued. Out of curiosity, do you use any tools or systems to help with training and keeping everything running smoothly, or is it all hands-on?”
