Tire Shine Machine

Had one years ago which was a spray type - no brush. MAde a mess and PITA . Now I have it in the back room. May convert the case to tire inflator.

I have one. It was built when my wash was built in '08? It makes maybe $25/mo but makes and ABSOLUTE mess of the asphalt, the island the machines is mounted on, and the coil hose.

I've been strongly considering converting it to air like Earl

I kn ow two people who've had one. They both said the same things as these two replies here, plus one machine had some sort of meter that let it run until it dispensed however many ounces it was supposed to, so his customers would park in front of it for hours putting a tiny spritz on a cloth or sponge and detailing.

I have a gun like below and find that many people are able to use the residual shine soaked into the sponge to get a free application, albeit light.

I have 3. I bought one and built the other 2 myself. Spray gun with brush. $1 per minute. They are used in summer and not so much in winter. I built mine with 2 solenoid so that after time was used the second solenoid opens and depressurize the hose and system. Without it system could be used for a couple of free cars. They are a bit messy. I added booms and coiled hose so that hose is not drug in the ground.
