Just ordered these a few months back and they have been quite useful. They allow you to get into some pretty tight spaces you couldn't get with "regular" tools to work on the 1" hose and related fittings. Because of the way they are designed, you can only get a partial turn out of it, but that's where I have problems. I use them to loosen the fitting , or to get that lat bit of torque to stop the fitting from leaking. I used these yesterday to replace the hose that goes from the transition box on the wall to the end of the boom. JCC in all their wisdom made it necessary to take off the boom skin and usually remove the clamps that hold the pipe on the boom so you could get a wrench on the fitting. Although you still have to take off the skin, I can loosen the fitting without removing the clamp that holds the pipe in the boom. They are especially useful working under the pumpstand to remove or replace the hose near the unloader. This particular set will work with 3/4" & 1" hose and fittings. I actually only use four of them out of this set. If someone needs to know the exact sizes let me know.
I don't normally like to purchase inexpensive chinese made tools, but a set of these from a a quality mfg would cost several hundred dollars and make it impractical to own. I plan on purchasing a set of 3/8" for smaller fittings. I sure could have used a smaller size yesterday to get to a 1/2" rocker panel hose hidden behind a box on the passenger side of the gantry.
