Top boom prox error

Error 25, top boom prox came on when boom was more then 10 counts away, changed the prox and cable today and it does the same thing, boom goes home, gantry goes home and wash quits. Anyone have any ideas?

This is a probably a long shot and it sounds like you are working on a WW 2.0. I had some similar problems on my WW 1.0 and I had the emergency stop button pushed partially in. Like I said, a long shot.

Have you found the reason for this problem? I get the same error as well as a boom proxy 1 alarm. Have checked prices and cables to no avail. If I power down the wash for hour or overnight it works fine for several days and then happens again. Very frustrating. Going to change the process and cables again to see if works but thought I'd ask if you had another solution.

yes, al at jc told me how to reset the profiling eyes for the boom and that fixed it. its in the programming.
