In V-Blog #43 we related what one of our customers told us at the CCWE show. When an unreliable machine is replaced with a new in-the-wall merchandiser, it would most likely go unnoticed by the majority of your wash customers because they look very similar. Once customers get cheated or lose money in an unreliable machine, they get out of the habit of going to the vendor at all. All a customer can remember is that they lost money and/or didn’t get their product from the machine. They may even start bringing their own supplies when they wash their car. The post ended with the suggestion that maybe the old Vend-Master unit should be removed completely, the block wall filled in, and a new ShurVend VendPro-18 merchandiser be installed in or near the vacuum area so your customers will know something has changed.

Therefore we are making this offer to existing Vend-Master owners that want to remove the machine, close up the hole, and move the vending center to the vacuum area of the wash with a free standing ShurVend VendPro-18. Rather then throw everything away, you can send us the working bill validator and coin changer (must be MDB compatible**, see below) from your Vend-Master as a trade-in on the cost of a new bill validator and coin changer (Conlux--$500/Mars--$725). We will install them into a new ShurVend VendPro-18 with LED lighting and the “Guaranteed Delivery” system. The list price for the ShurVend VendPro-18 with a new Conlux bill validator and Conlux coin changer is $3695. After we receive your check for payment, we will send you a Visa Gift Card for $250 as a bonus that you can spend anyway you want. The net cost to you for this program would be $2945 for the ShurVend VendPro-18 plus whatever the cost of shipping (with lift-gate) is to your delivery point.

The ShurVend VendPro-18 stands 60-inches tall and has a footprint of 36-inches X 36-inches with leveling screws and concrete bolts inside the merchandiser to secure it to a concrete pad. The hopper (drop box) is full size and the clearance between the trays and the window is over 8-inches so the taller car wash packs vend very well. This new merchandiser is compliant with the new ADA regulations.

**All MDB units install the same way in any vending machine. The way you can tell if you have MDB units is the changer has a single 6-pin male plug and the bill validator has two plugs; a 6-pin male and a 6-pin female wired in parallel.
