I plan to buy a soda machine for my wash. Is it ok to lay it on its back in my pickup for transport back to the wash, or will this harm the unit? Thanks!:D

I do know that with refrigerators it's safe to lay it on its side or back, but you want to leave it upright without powering it for at least half as long as it was on its side (up to 24 hours) for the compressor oil to settle back down. I doubt it will hurt the vend workings since there's so little to them.

If you remove the cooling deck first it might be better and you can put it in after standing it back up and not have to wait. I have only read about it but it seems pretty simple and there is no loss of refrigerant because it is a complete unit. Do you know about how much the machine weighs that you are buying? Some are crazy heavy.
