I can confirm it will help. That being said, you will have to clean that exposed surface a lot more if you want it to look as clean as in your picture.

I have the same lids - bigger hole
I almost broke out Laughing when I saw that
Cause in my area -half of my trash wont fit thru that
And that means more to pick up off the ground!!!!!

Hell I have Customers that bypass the trash can and go straight to the dumpster!

Good luck!

We tried smaller cans, small trash openings, and eliminating the trash bins totally. Nothing worked to reduce the work. First two options just created headaches as people will try to balance their trash on the can even if it will not fit or no room exists. They just do not care if it goes on the ground. Removing the bins eliminated most of the abuse but still had a few who would leave their bags near the vac stands. Eliminating the bins also annoyed most of the honest customers so we returned them. We have four 110gal bins on wheels that get emptied by trash form twice a week. Our cost for that service started at $180 per month. Now it is $348 per month which is nuts. Unfortunately we have few competitors in our area. Good luck with your challenge.
