Tri-Foam applicator designs

I just went through a new Broadway touch-free unit at a new Chevrolet Dealership and it did a awesome job at cleaning my vehicle and I noticed while I was watching the triple foam application that they use K-nozzles to apply triple foam and the coverage was insanely cool versus a piece of PVC with hole drilled into it has anybody here tried this would it use more chemical?

What is a "K-Nozzle"?

K Nozzles inject air into the chemical solution at the nozzle and improve foaming. They are normally used when a traditional foamer is not available or practical for the application. They do a great job but not as well as a foamer. There are several different versions on the market.
