Triple Foam Help

New car wash owner so please be gentle....I have 3 tanks with hydro's for the three colors they all have 24vac solenoids at the bottom of the tanks the Gin san timer system is set with 8&10 on for time (i think 10 secs change?) change I checked and it rotates the voltage on all three solenoids We have drained and cleaned all three tanks the three solenoids all tee into a single flow jet but all I seem to get out is the blue and sometimes green that is really watery not a foam I have the air at 40 and the water at 50 the hydro's are all using a green tip any suggestions on what I am missing to get good triple foam and all three colors

Are all 3 solenoids clear and allowing flow? Are all 3 hydrominders working properly and mixing chemical concentrations? Loose hoses or connections before flojet allowing air to get sucked in?

Whenever I have had issues with my three color foam system it has always been a chemical dilution issue. I would start by either adding some concentrated chemical into each tank or putting in a larger tip and see if that makes an improvement.

I just went through a similar issue with my new Ginsan TF unit. Only two colors were working and it was very watery. Waxman is spot on with the strength of chemicals. I increased mine and the liquid pressure and the foam came flying out. Next, I found one of solenoids was plugged with debris. I took it apart and cleaned all the orifices. It works great now with the kind of foam shown on the Ginsan sign. I also increased my time between colors which helped a lot. Around 16 seconds I think.

Keno, Waxman, David Thanks for the input...I have pulled and cleaned the solenoids I will try a larger tip also how much should be in the tanks mine fills about halfway do I need to adjust the chain? Also do you know the Gin-Sin dip settings to increase the time to 16 secs. What Size tip on the hydro and does anyone know the correct size that the guns use?

I have attached the system manual. Look at the bottom of page 7 for details on time adjustment. I'm running ultra chemicals so what works for me may be different. I would go up two to three sizes and start there. You can always pour some straight into the tank for testing.

The tips for the guns are Kleenrite PN SN6570USS4 Vee Jet tips

Thanks for the info and manual I will make some changes and see what happens All three soaps are new. I see there is supposed to be a foam generator I will have to assume they are up in the trough because I don't see them by the machine

It's already been said but if the three solenoids are getting energized there are only three things to consider: bad solenoid(s), trash in solenoid(s), bad(or weak) chemical.

You left out the awesome tech support you got.

In this post Dan can hook you with foam generators. If you have them, I suspect they would be closer to the foam gun discharge above your bays.

Check your lines in the troth. We had a line with a small hole that created a watery output on our foam brush. The smallest hole can create the situation. We spiced in new tubing and all good immediately.
