Hello all,

My red triple shine foams and runs down the inside of the gantry on both sides instead of spraying out on the car. Has anyone had this problem and what was the solution. Could it be my procon pump getting weak? Possibly my foam generator being clogged? any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Assuming your system pressure is adequate I would suspect a clogged generator.

Before you do anything complicated don't forget to check the inlet strainer in the chemical tank . Triple foams I have used in the past have a habit of gumming up the works there.

Also you might want to check the solenoid a in the panel on the driver side of gantry, they control the air and product delivery.

Ok, The pressure is a little less than 50 PSI so I replaced the pump and it still reads the same. I tried wiping off the inlet strainer and still no change. My next step is to check the solenoid and then replace the foamer. It was only doing it on the passenger side and now its on both sides of car.

Just wanted to give an update!

Increase the pressure to around 55-58psi and see if it comes out better. I have all 3 tri foam pumps set a little below 60psi in order to get consistent delivery.

Hey John , I had the same problem last summer. Replaced the foam generator and procon pump, still had the problem. Changed the tip and it worked just fine, wish I had done it first. Same chemical brand has before, just not as thick or consistent I guess.

Hey all,

Put in a new procon pump, retipped the chemical, and adjusted the air. Its all working great now but I dont think the procon pump was the actual issue. Cellardale hit it on the head with chemical consistency and air pressure.
