Trouble with self serve bay

I have a bay at our car wash that is shutting off when the customer changes the rotary switch to the wax setting. All the other settings are working properly. We replaced the rotary switch but it is still shutting off on the wax setting. Any ideas on how to fix the problem would be appreciated. Thank you.

Check the wax solenoid.

Sounds like the pump starting wire for the wax selection was loose before and possibly still not connected right now. Lot of wire crammed in those boxes sometimes. Depending how it's wired up sometimes they will break after opening the box so many times.
