last fall i programmed on coupon. made it good for a $11 credit to buy my top wash at no charge. i have been giving these out to customers who lost money in changer etc...
about 4 weeks ago someone called and said it only gave them a silver [$5] wash. i said it only gives them what they select and that if they select a $5 wash it wont disperse change it will simply just give them that wash...thought i had a case of someone wanting a free cheep wash and some cash back.
today someone called and said the same thing, so i headed over, opened the machine, removed the coupon they inserted and re inserted in order to prove that my thery was right....well it wasnt, the machine simply gave me a $5 wash - it gave me no other option or credit...
soooo, how the &*&%$# does this happen? it just seems it reprogrammed my coupons.
any one been down this road and willing to explain it to me?
