Unitec WashChange info

Does anyone here have a unitec washchange or know anything about them. I currently have Rowe changers and am always fixing them and saw some used unitecs for sale. Do they still make them? Are they a good product? Thanks for the your help.

"July 15, 2008 - Unitec to discontinue WashChange
Unitec Electronics will be discontinuing the WashChange bill changer for the self-service car wash industry. Purchase orders for the WashChange will be accepted through October 31, 2008 as quantities permit. The final shipping date for Wash Change will be December 31, 2008. Unitec will continue to support and inventory parts for all WashChange units in the field as long as key components remain available"

I wonder why they discontinued them? Or maybe I could just guess. If you want a good changer be prepared to pay for it. If you want the best changer buy a Hamilton with a Mars validator or my second choice would a Standard with a Mars validator.

I have a dual WashChange and wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if they were still available.
