Contact Marc Wilson and the Southeast Car Wash Association. He has done several of those conversions.

I went from a low volume express to an overperforming touchless auto. Happiest 2 years since.

Cost magnitude for turnkey is usually between $250K and $350K, excludes vacuum system.

I would select 5-brush system with high-pressure wheels and 75-hp dryer as opposed to 3-brush and 45 hp.

MacNeil is good choice because product is 1st rate and Ryko has largest service network. However, Texas is 2nd most populated state so supplier should not be an issue.

Like most carwash systems, expect a material difference between actual and rated hourly capacity.

Budget $50,000 for labor expense over and above current self-serve burden.

Expect 20 percent or more of wand-bay users to cross-over. Don’t expect all of the in-bay customers to cross-over.

Require minimum of six vacuum spaces to meet freemium demand.

Installing a bathroom in mechanical room is good decision.
