We have received quite a few calls in the last month from ShurVend operators that tell us the vendor won't take any coins or bills while all the indicator lights are on steady (which is good). After a few questions we ask them to check pricing for any selection to see if it is correct in the control board. Most of the time we are told the selection price is $199.95 or $655.00. What this means is that the vendor has defaulted to these high prices which shuts the vendor down. This is caused by some dirty power or surges caused by our recent nasty weather. We highly recommend that all vendors be plugged into a surge protector just like your computer; after all the vendor is run by a computer.

When pricing has been defaulted, you have reprice all the selections in the machine to their proper values. The vendor should go back to normal after this is done.

May the weather get better soon!!!!
