Walls-Fiberglass or Extrutech?

I need to cover my painted walls in the automatics. I have quotes from EPI plastics and a Fiberglass company experienced in car wash walls. The EPI is quite a bit cheaper but is it "more expensive" in the long run? I've seen some fiberglassed walls that are about 5 or 6 years old. They still look good.

I personally can't tell you. Everyone on the forum that has EPI wall coverings have said that they like them. I haven't heard anyone say they regret making the decision. I think that any wall covering like this still has to be maintained. Good Luck!

Fiberglass, but the key to longevity is getting it in a smooth, gel-coated version. That cheap orange peel type surface really holds the dirt. With the smooth, gel coated type, it is much easier to keep clean. Our is going on 6 years old and still looks good (that's about 550,000 cars having gone through)

Talked to a guy about the smooth type because it looks great. He agreed, unfortuneatly the dickwad vandals who frequent SS washes luv to carve grafftti in smooth surfaces. Not really a problem for a tunnel. For an IBA could still be a problem.

I have Extrutech everywhere even in the equipment room and ceilings. It holds up very well and cleans very easy. I also like having the ability to do colors. the bottom five feet of our bay is in red then we go to white to the ceiling. its a very nice effect.

I remodeled my tunnel 2 years ago and used Extrutech everywhere. Very easy install and great results. They now offer 2ft wide panels for use on vertical surfaces to make install even easier. 2 years later, still looks like new.

Picture please

Would you mind posting a picture of the multicolored bay?
