hello all, does anyone have any experience with a bad counting wheel? My water wizard is initiating different cycles at the same time in the middle of a wash. My counting wheel has a little play in it and when I run it up and dwn the track the prox flashes are not consistent. Coleman only item and if so about how much does a new wheel run?

Any input or feedback will be greatly appreciated! My unit is 11 years old so I would imagine the wheel is worn out.

Thanks in advance.

Is the wheel a wear item or does it just turn near a prox sensor?

The wheel is wobbling a bit as it goes down thr track. It looks like the shaft has hollowed out the wheel hole a bit. Granted it not very much but it has some play in it. Also. It looks like it is only counting three sprockets on the wheel missing every fourth one. I do not know if this iis supposed to be that way or not.

**Update**

Ok, so I took the assembly apart and what I found out the counting wheel is nothing more than a 5.5x1.5 plastic lawnmower wheel. I found one that would work at Home Depot of all places. $4.99 later My machine is up and running and the counts are spot on. No need try to replace the whole assembly. The whole job took maybe an hour once I found the wheel replacement.
