Wow I have met some great people in the car wash business! I had a friend come help me this week on his day off. I was having a problem with a Cat 530 pump; no pressure, intermittent chattering. I watched a video and went about replacing seals and valves. I never got past " remove seal casings".

Thanks to my buddy, I am back up and running. He knew a trick to remove the casings and showed me the proper way to replace seals. He inspected new valves I had put in and found crud in at least 2 valves.

Reassembled and back together in less than an hour! THANK YOU!!!!!

I think I know the guy you're talking about. Probably cooking up something sinister, like trying to get your secret recipe for mixing water and chemicals to make bubbles.
